I spent that day doing everything I could to be proactive so that I could start attending the internship as soon as possible. I wondered what my other classmates were up to, and how they were handling their new internship. I was also feeling extremely overwhelmed as I knew this was going to set me back and give me a lot of catching up to do. Later on that day, I attended the seminar with the rest of the class who had just completed their first day. It was nice to be involved in the whole thing, seeing as I couldn't be involved earlier that day. Also, I felt a little more relaxed as the supervisors ensured me that I would get extensions, and that everything would be okay.
In the Seminar, we students discussed their days - it was really interesting to hear all the stories - though I was still a little bummed that I didn't have one of my own. We discussed our assignments for the next week, and any uncertainties were cleared up. All in all, it was a good meeting, and I think the seminars are going to make this entire process a lot more manageable and organized.
*Update: It looks like I'd have everything in order to start the Internship next week ! Now I can not feel as overwhelmed!
