- Begin individualized, independent research project with Gillian revolving a topic of her choice- Week of March 6th. The data I will collect to more deeply understand these actions are her research project (the effort, passion put into it). Field notes/observations of her attitude towards it.
Thus, Gillian will be working on this project throughout the rest of the semester. She can do it when she has completed her assigned tasks for Math and Science, or on her own independent time. Regardless of when she chooses, the goal is to ensure that she is not plateauing and is continuing to learn and grow. I plan to take observational notes to record how this affects Gillian's engagement and excitement. Additionally, her final project would be collected and assessed, to ensure that she is learning. I believe that this is a great enrichment opportunity for her.
